Answer:Most people have a revered image of Teresa, as did I. But when they find out that she used most of the donations for missionary work rather than providing sick and poor people with medical and financial aid, all that turns to hate.Telling the poor to accept difficulty and suffering as God’s will is not the kind of charity that all the generous donors trusted her to provide to the needy.Instead of making hospitals and orphanages, much the funds were used to build churches, missionary schools and salaries of employees. The few hospitals and orphanages that were built helped very few people. If you donate a billion dollars to me and use 10% on the needy and rest on religious activities, that does not make me a true humanitarian. No matter how many good deeds you do, it cannot make up for the bad ones. And for the people saying that those who have never done any form of social services ever, do not have the right to criticize Teresa, I ask you this: Why do you vote for the Presidency when you have never been a presidential candidate yourself? See the problem with your statement now?She did more good work that most of us care to admit but finding out that not all of it was for charity is disappointing.
