The first seeds of fear and hysteria is rooted when Abigail is questioned about her activities in the woods and she accuses Tituba. Hysteria and fear build the town which leads to the destructive nature of fear and corruption of power.The characters now hold power especially Abigail after she became the victim and a savior in the eyes of the people. She could accuse anyone she wanted and abuses her power.At the end justice falls apart when Reverend Parris falls from his position.
