Starting at the center:1/4 meter this way  ==>then 1/4 meter this way  <== then another 1/4 meter this way  <==then 1/4 meter this way  ==> ending where it started.Total = (0.25 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.25) = 1.00 meter.
