Why is gravity an example of a scientific law?

-- It explains so many things that we see happening around us.-- So many of its predictions are true when they're tested.-- It is so successful when we use it, for example, to navigate spacecraft.that it has become accepted as a law of nature.(At least until something comes along that explains and predicts thingsmore accurately than the Law of Gravity does.)
