(Science) A ship leaves a saltwater port, heavily loaded with cargo. It sails across the ocean, but when it arrives at its destination, it has to dock at a port located in the mouth of a river. As it approaches this port, it starts to sink lower in the water. The cargo has not shifted or changed in any way. Why is the ship floating lower in the water?
